after this was on the news, AARP sent out an email to us subscribers saying they weren't really backing ANY changes

I wrote back to them and told them if they backed any cuts to SS or Medicare, I would stop being a member and ask for my dues back

only after govcorp stops funding wars  - stops bailing out the world banks - stops the funding of state and local police depts in ways that are turning them into a military entity - and returns all social security payments people have made with interest  should they even consider a cut in benefits to people.


why is it even called a trust fund if you can't trust the fund holders?

My congressional representative actually came by the house a couple of years ago.  He said he tries to campaign on foot in every part of his district at least once every five years

anyway, he said it is important to email or call or write about what your feelings are...representatives and senators figure for every one person who comments to them, there are 10K+ more with that opinion that don't contact them...

so, just a few people can change a legislators opinion...that's why it's important to tell them what you think, somehow someway

i rule myself by moral law following the golden rule - the only reason i pay unrepresented taxes is to keep myself out of America's prisons. i consider myself an american by birth only - not by oath


i have no say in how my tax dollars are used - if i did - they wouldn't be used in illegal wars and giving to banks so they can throw people out on the street when they stop lending money to business but give bonuses to themselves.
