i'm looking for a song i heard on the radio today from a local boston electronic band. It's dubbed with lines from obama.  It's not bad.

but as i was listening it reminded me of a anarchist reolution song i know. When i find it i'm going to post them both together.

------------

i also heard a song from " these United States "

one additional comment

every fraking time I go to the store, the price of those flushable butt wipes goes up.  Used to be a package was 89 cents, now I'm paying close to $2

I can't understand why such a huge increase in that particular product i don't know

I may be a little paranoid but i think companies are raising the prices of the things they can to make up for being unable to raise the price for things they can't.

for instance : if a company makes toilet paper and also makes paper kitchen towels.

well, if they raise the price of the kitchen towel then some people will just stop buying them and go back to useing cloth towels. ( me )

but, if they raise the price of toilet paper, well, people still have to wipe their buts Cheesy

I don't think that is paranoid.  I think that is probably good marketing.  When I worked for HP, I used to think the marketing department was ridiculous, but now I see how they manipulate prices and the economy and our purchases

i believe society is going through some deep fundamental changes i. i think large corporations aware of this. i think they got caught flat footed though.

the going back to basics that is taking place all over the country is going to make the hippie movement of the 60's look minuscule.

some of the pundits on tv don't seem to get it yet. it's a little bit of a class warfare taking place.

Dawn just hasn't broken on their material orientated minds yet. what this has to do with the price of groceries not sure i can put into words. but, i think the old way thinkers are going to give us a lot less choice when it comes to groceries.

IE: Moxie,  There was a huge display of moxie at the market yesterday. 5 twelve packs for 10 dollars. I picked up a couple of cases. I drink moxie when it's on sale. usually it will only go down to 3 dollars a twelve pack. I developed a taste for it a few years ago. i bout some on sale and the first can had an awful after taste. But i had to finish it because it would be a waste to throw it out. So, after about the third can i found myself looking forward to the after taste, and now, i like it better then the other sodas.

well, i think this time it's so cheap because they will probably stop making it. giving me less choice in sodas. now i lost my subject thought.  red blobber

got a ride to Costco today from my buddy with an suv.

spent $430 and stocked up. Some veggies, hard cheese-romano and parmesan, some smoked gouda, three cases of bottled water, a huge bottle of glucosamine, a huge bottle of multivitamins, 4 toothpaste, case of tp (Now I have three cases), 3 pounds of smoked salmon, 12 pounds of boneless chicken, a quart of honey, 10 pounds of beef steaks for the patient I take care of  (I don't eat beef, but they need the protein) and some romaine hearts and avocadoes, and some canned peaches, coffee, a couple bottles of Irish Cream (I have found a little tiny glass of it helps me sleep), some humus, 4 quarts of marinated mushrooms, gravy mix, bag o' fresh garlic, a jar of minced garlic, and some snacks. Oh, and some AAA batteries.

the freezer is full.  If the power stays on, there's 2-3 months of good, edible, food.  Making fresh sprouts every week provides excellent fresh and healthy greens.

remember that even during the great depression #1, most people survived

and things got better

things are going to change.  i doubt anyone's life will not be effected, but we'll get through it

let's hang some prayer flags.  I've always wanted some.  Where can one get them?
