1- short and sweet this year

2- The ground invasion starts tomorrow 1/1/9 ( Gaza )


3- The Gaza Conflict will lead to a wider regional War Involving Iran, Lebanon , Syria . Egypt and Saudi Arabia will stay out of it.


4- The entire continent of Africa and One other country will be quarantined for a brief time this year.


5- One of the major financial Channels will be taking off the air this year.

6- Social Unrest will spread throughout Europe this summer .

7- China will increase it's military budget but show restraint in using it's military might.


8- Russia will use the Middle east conflict as a proxy to keep her economy afloat.

9- Scientist  are going to become increasingly concerned about the lack of solar activity.

10- It will come to light that governments of the world have united in an effort to use Geo-engineering to stabilize the earths environment.


11- UFOS will not be disclosed this year because governments will not be willing to share technological advances with one another. Instead, They will use them to try and stabilize their economies.


12- Bird Flu will become pandemic, but much less deadly, 2% to 4% mortality rate.  ( summer )

14- America will move to a more socialistic society. A major move towards universal health care. But, not this year.


15- Racism and Religious intolerance will take 2 steps backwards.

16- There will be Major terror attacks in the world. London, Tel Aviva. The Us attack will be minuscule. Lone Nut, homegrown. quickly forgotten.

17- The united States will be OK , economy will suffer, Unemployment will Rise, But it will hold.

18- Obama Afghanistan plan will prove to be a complete folly. He will ask for international help and receive it.


19- 5 hurricanes will make land fall , 1 category 4

20- The world will be glad to see 2009 end . That being said, The world will come more together in a growing sense that we are all in this thing together and we will have to get out of it together. The people will demand that white collar criminals are treated more severe. There will be a new morality emerging. The people risk tolerance will become almost non existence. The hay day of the 401k driven market will cease to exist.

I've been concerned about the lack of solar activity for quite some time

last year i predicted that it would pick up in the fall with a major flare.

the sun hasn't been right for a while, solar minimum is over, but you wouldn't know it

well, we don't have a billion years of data to compare it to, but still, it's strange

I posted some predictions at CBA but I will add some different ones here. And I will copy the ones from CBA at the end so we can keep
up with them here also.


There will be an 'Indian Uprising" this year on a reservation when natives and the Govt. clash over plans to build a nuclear waste facility
on or near Indian land. Militants and regular natives alike will join forces and take a very dramatic and sometimes violent stand. This will go on
for several weeks with the govt finally giving up because of national and world wide bad press.

Canadian border patrol will apprehend a van trying to get into the US loaded with a hidden suit case nuke. The people will be traced
back to a terrorist cell from Syria or Saudi Arabia.

An ocean liner will completely sink. It will be from an explosion in the engine room and all but 2 will be saved.

The Pope will become very ill and speculation will be on who will take his place. But he will hang on until at least the beginning of
2010



February will bring record snow fall to some southern states such as
TN, Alabama, NC and parts of Ga. 10-15 inches in some areas.

There will be a major breakthrough in the continuing search for an Aids cure.

The embargo on Cuba will be lifted.

An airliner will crash in or near Memphis.

The economy will improve but people will be so gun shy about spending that a few major retailers will have to close or file chapter 11.

In May, a series of severe tornado activity will wreck havoc in Oklahoma, Kansas over a 3 day time period.

A 6.5 EQ will hit in California in Feb or March.

Iran will be nuke ready by June.

Deaths will include Liz Taylor, Pauly Shore, Barbara Bush, Carmen Electra, Doris Day

the us economy is going to get worse before it starts to get better, but it will still be in much better shape than the rest of the world.

US stocks lost a lot, but not as much as the other major markets.
