there's got to be about fifty million bloggers out there in the InternetS.  one of them is probably keeping a running total. if we could find him/her we could c & p

 

i bet there is an official gov site we can find.

it's a start

hasn't been updated since August though

and it seems to be for tech companies.

i do know one way to do it.

i could set t up for google to send me a rss fed for any news stories about layoffs.

then i could have feed burner.. burn me a feed.

 then i could republish it in a post.

it wouldn't keep a running total. and it would also contain stories about layoffs that wern't actual layoff announcements though.
