Bird flu fatalities registered in Vietnam
« Mar 19, 2010    01:35:24 PM »
Seven new cases of bird flu have been registered in Vietnam. Russian media referring to the WHO, reported that Vietnamese health department declared about those fresh cases of the influenza.
According to the source about 8 thousand infected birds have been registered within 12 to 26 February.

Even though H5N1 transmission between humans is not an easy matter, experts say it continues to pose a risk, especially if it were to mix with the now dominant H1N1 swine flu virus.
