hundreds of people showed up and waited up to four hours for Swine flu vaccine
« Nov 10, 2009    12:55:11 PM »

Bob Johnson's Pharmacy was one of the few places in King County that was advertised as accepting walk-in patients for the H1N1 flu vaccine on Monday. That was before hundreds of people showed up and waited up to four hours, braving rain showers and cold temperatures to receive the vaccine.

A line meanders into Bob Johnson's Pharmacy in Seattle's Crown Hill neighborhood where people waited up to 5 hours for the H1N1 vaccine. (Joshua Trujillo, Seattlepi.com)

Catherine Glavan said she felt a little silly showing up an hour early with her five-month-old son and 3-year-old daughter. "Then as I pulled around the corner I saw a really long line of umbrellas."
