Until we see who we are stuck with, beast, everyday is a special occasion.

So eat your cheese burgers and enjoy them without guilt. Smiley

Just make sure you cave and give the cat a bite. Wink

i've learned from past cats.

my cat never even asks for people food. not even chicken or turky or roast beef.

if you never give them people food from the time they are a kitten when they grow up they don't bother with it or think to ask for it. They would rather their own cat food.

the only thing that the cat shows interest in is ice cream.  she loves ice cream.

one of my cats when i was a kid would come home every night at dinner time and sit at the dining room table with us as we were eating. and then after dinner would go up to the neighbors house to see what they were having.  green blobber

We had an outdoor cat that had several homes away from home that did that.

I got six new rails and 12 new clips today.  Won't fix the whole fence, but I can repair the worst parts... when it stops raining.  This was the last thing on my to-do-before OCtober list.

6 people in Lowe's... 6

garage sale signs everywhere

My accounting buddy, who I was bitching to about smaller package sizes a while back said, "Even Colonel Saunders now only has 8 pieces in their buckets."

If I can get a ride to an atm tomorrow, i'm getting a bit more cash.

good on you about the fence.  Mike said even walmarts was empty this morning.

i have some boards to replace on my deck before halloween. i already bought them just haven't made myself get out there and do it yet. i'm even secretly hoping for rain tomorrow so i have an excuse.

I won't get the repair work done for a couple of weeks.  Its been raining the last three days andwe're  supposed to continue to have inclement weather next week.  Plus I got docs on Monday, all day tuesday at the out patient hospital.  Tomorrow I have to see what tomatoes I can salvage from the cool, windy, wet weather and some other chores.

I did manage to get 48 votives made this week.

i looked at candles in the store last week. fiofffffffffff

you're doing the right think making your own. that's for sure.

i might go see if i can find a cheap oil lamp someplace tomorrow.

and have you ever made those little oil candles that float on top of like salad oil.

it's ben so long i forget. maybe i'll experiment.

I have never made those

look on the InternetS, there will be instructions, or ask me and I can direct you to some good instructional sites

candles have soared in price, especially if you want one that will burn safely.  It is worth it to find a craftsperson and get them that way.   You may pay $2.50-3 for a votive, but you will get longer, safer burn from it than you would a $5 6" pillar from some store that sells china pooh

these guys might be in your area

Source: http://www.candlechem.com/

and if they let you pick up at their store, you can get some wax at a great case price

save your empty jars

get some appropriate wicking

and for $75 you could make alot, alot of pure white container candles to use

you don't have to have color or scent

in fact, if you want them for light, you don't want to add any dye
